Thousands of disposable gloves, protective googles and food distribution equipment have been donated this week by Gordon’s School, in a bid to help those dealing with the current pandemic.

​​Millfield School in Street, Somerset is working with the District and Parish Council, The Salvation Army, Crispin Hall and the Community Centre on a number of initiatives, including becoming a delivery ‘hub’, to help the local community during the Coronavirus outbreak.

Head of DT at Hazlegrove Prep School, Mrs Bonnie Barton, created a production line in her kitchen, in order to make 95 protective face masks for front-line workers, NHS healthcare in prisons and local Doctors surgeries.

Felsted School are working to make a difference through the sales of coffee to the local community. Safi Coffee is a special pupil-led initiative that imports Ugandan coffee to sell across the UK, in partnership with Hull Collegiate School and Highgate School.

​DLD College London students have visited local charity Ambition Aspire Achieve, to provide valuable support to young people living in the community.
